During training our cadre utilizes active, hands-on field training programs as opposed to conventional lecture or seminar methodology. Tactical Element delivers unconventional casualty care training for unconventional environments! Tactical Element's goal is to provide the most current concepts and skills outlined by the CoTCCC and correlate how these integrate into current areas of operations such theaters such as Iraq and Afghanistan. Course participants demonstrate course knowledge and skill competency by participating in numerous realistic scenarios conducive of delivering care in unconventional urban combat environments. Participants, regardless of prior medical training will be able to adapt, use initiative and develop tactical measures and/or casualty care modalities that lessen the effectiveness of any threat induced wounding that a tactical operator might face and at the same time provide the life-saving skills identified in the TCCC matrix.
The training course participants receive from is designed to meet the special medical training requirements for personnel who are deployed to remote or denied environments supporting individual or small groups. The deployed or tactical out-of-hospital environment is completely different than the U.S. standard of pre-hospital environment. Training addresses the mission of prolonged out-of-hospital care; remote medical care, prolonged transport times, unique tactical wounding and the out-of-hospital environment.
Our goal is to provide first world medicine in third world countries!
